About
The Sweetbay Magnolia is a beautiful, unique tree that flowers late in the Spring, avoiding potential frost that can take away from the beauty of its blooms. It has an elegant shape and produces creamy white flowers that are typically 2-3″ in diameter and have a lemon scent. The Sweetbay Magnolia is a smaller tree that grows to 10-20′ in height with a 10-20′ spread, making it a perfect fit for small to medium-sized yards.
Wildlife
The Sweetbay Magnolia’s clusters of red fruit are eaten by squirrels, turkey and quail, and are a favorite of a wide variety of songbirds.
